Agents

Not secret agents, but shipping agents. One of the most important relationships that the Pursers Office has in any country is that with the shipping agents that are assigned to represent us. All our paperwork goes through them for customs, Immigration, mail, arrivals, departures etc etc. Here in Benin we are represented by COBENAM a State owned company. We visit their office at least twice a week - often much more frequently, and have spent many hours building up a raport that allows us to work as well together as possible.
